Today is World AIDS Day – a day set aside to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.
I’m going to stay off of my soapbox today and just give you some facts.
The first fact is that AIDS is a global problem. It’s here. It’s there. It’s everywhere.
The second fact is that CHILDREN are born, live and die with HIV/AIDS.
People are often quick to judge when they learn that someone they know is HIV positive or has developed AIDS.
Oops, I’m up on my soapbox.
Before I come down from it, let me say – how can you judge a newborn baby who comes into this world HIV positive?
Get the facts. Let go of prejudice and fear.
People are dying…children are dying.
Let’s work together to make HIV/AIDS history.
