Hubby and I watched a movie entitled Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. The movie wasn’t anything to write home about, but it did create thoughts worth mentioning here.
If you knew the world would end in 21 days….
What would you do?
After the initial panic subsided, what would become most important to you?
What would become of no significance at all?
Look around you. Check your calendar. Open your planner.
What would you never touch again…do again…think of again? What would change – about you and about what you did from that point onward?
If you weren’t going to live beyond 21 days, what would be the point in all the stuff you’d accumulated and cared for all the years of your life?
We’re all going to die, you know.
I’m to the place in my life where I find myself wondering why I have all I have and what life would be like without it and the care/concern of it all.
Think – if you knew the world would end in 21 days, what or who would you want nearest you? What would it take to make that happen? What would happen to all the stuff you no longer cared about?
Why not begin now working toward that end? Why not get rid of all that clutters and with clarity begin living the life that would be important if….
